Mrs.Gairhan’s class had an awards ceremony to celebrate students reaching their IXL goals for the first 9 weeks. Students received a certificate for mastering IXL lessons. Keep up the hard work and reaching for your goals, mathematicians!

Thank you Detective Samantha Carver and Detective Kevin Kirkland for visiting our prek yesterday for community helpers week. Our students got a glimpse into what the LCSO Criminal Investigation Division does and each student was able to do a fingerprint.

Our Prek students received a awesome experience today provided by LCUB. Thank you Bryant Bingham, Bryce Dubes, Cody Flachbart, Matt Miller, and Stephen Hawkins for coming to share how your team impacts our community and for highlighting your equipment. 🚀❤️










Community Helpers week in prek wouldn't be complete if we didn't explore our school community. Our prek students heard about what Mrs Purdy at the Family Resource Center does for our school as well as our Cosmic Cafe staff. EES office staff also jumped in about our roles.









Thank you to Technical Sergeant Steven Purdy and Staff Sergeant Cody Purdy from the Air Force National Guard for coming for community helper week. Both Purdy boys attend Eaton Elementary School as kids. ❤️🚀❤️ Our students enjoyed their visit!

We welcomed our Fall Tennessee Tech practicum students this morning. They will be here weekly learning about literacy instruction in the classroom and developing their craft. We love hosting future teacher, partnering with TTU, and building a strong community of educators.

Thank you Dr. Baessler for speaking with our prek this morning about how you are a community helper. Our students learned about the many jobs a Veterinarian does and some neat facts about the animals he has treated.
