We are proud to celebrate our staff who participated in the East Tennessee Federal Programs Conference! 🙌 This event highlighted inspiring and practical strategies along with current successful practices that empower teachers to provide the very best for all students. 💡🌟❤️ They even got to meet Gerry Brooks which every educator appreciates his humor and strategies.
We had 3 baby chicks hatch this morning in Ms. Mayfield’s class! Mrs. Powell brought in some fertilized eggs in an incubator after 2nd grades last knowledge domain about life cycles in nature. They have had so much fun watching them this week! Mrs. Powell used the light to show us the embryos inside the eggs. They reviewed the life cycle of a chicken, wrote about how they felt this morning when they came in and were hatched as well as what we would do with our own pet chicks! 🐥 🐣🐓❤️
