Mrs. Davis Bio
My name is Celina Norris Davis. Tennessee Wesleyan is where I chose to graduate with my Bachelor's in Early Childhood Instruction in 2000. In August 2000, I was able to "come home" to Philadelphia Elementary. I moved to Loudon County in 1991 and attended Philly for my 8th grade year. The family atmosphere, the bonds I shared with my classmates, and teachers getting to know me let me know that this school was special. I wanted nothing more than to come back to this place as an adult and try to make an influence on students like my teachers influenced me. I taught 6th grade one year, 4th grade one year, and have been teaching kindergarten since! A few years ago, several teacher friends and I went back to grad school. I graduated TTU with my masters in Instructional Leadership. Having support and accountability partners, this is so important in every aspect of our lives. I also have an absolute love for technology and how it can be used in instruction. One of my roles at school is an 'unofficial' Instructional Technology Coach. Helping other teachers learn new technology and how to implement it in lessons is something I love to do.
Mr. Gregory Davis is my husband. We married in 1997. Brady is our first born and came along in 2002. In 2007, Miley was born into our silly, funny, laughing family. We stay busy with camping and boating as a family. My biggest hobby is running a small business with my husband.
