Hello! My name is Kristi Thomas, and I am the school counselor for PES!  I am so excited and honored to be a part of #WarriorNation. I am a lifelong resident of Loudon County and have one son, Cody, and two daughters, Kenslee and Karter. I also have a dog, Jack, and a granddog, Piper. I graduated from Tusculum University in 2015 with a Bachelor’s in Psychology with a focus on mental health. I worked in community mental health for several years before returning to college. I earned my Master's in Professional School Counseling in 2021 from Carson-Newman University. Prior to attending college I worked in an elementary school as a bookkeeper. 

When I am not working you can find me spending time with my family and fur-babies, watching UT sports, reading a good book, and doing anything that involves water.

I am looking forward to meeting each and every student, as well as forming relationships within the community.  I believe that every student can reach their highest potential and I strive daily to help them in that process. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have questions or concerns.
