About Ms. Wolfenbarger

My name is Bridgette Wolfenbarger, and I am one of the school social workers serving Loudon County Schools. My main office is located at Philadelphia Elementary, but I bounce around to Greenback and the Alternative School, as well.
My role as a school social worker is to assist in removing barriers to a student developing to their fullest social, emotional, and academic potential. I do this by providing mental and behavioral health services via individual or small group counseling, guiding students and their families in accessing community resources, consulting with families and school personnel, intervening in crisis situations, and more. If you have a need that is not being met, please ask how I can best serve you!
I attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville for both my undergraduate and graduate degrees, where I earned my bachelor's in social work and master's in social work. I have since obtained my School Social Work Licensure and am in the process of becoming a Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW). When I am not working, I enjoy spending my time with my dog, hiking, gardening, kayaking, or relaxing with a good book on a rainy day.
You can reach me via email at [email protected] or by phone at 865-458-6801 (ext. 5029).
Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions on how I can be of support to you. I look forward to hearing from you and working with your student!
